Bacon Wrapped Smoked Shotgun Shells BBQ is a quick and easy BBQ appetizer that you can make in about an hour and a half, and its just a few simple ingredients. Let's take a look at this BBQ Shotgun Shells recipe. Manicotti shells, ground sausage, shredded cheese, bacon, your favorite bbq rub, and your favorite bbq sauce. I smoked these on my Masterbuilt Gravity Series 800, and set the Masterbuilt Gravity 800 to 300F. At about 45min in I sauced them up and let the setup for about 5-10 minutes.
These smoked shotgun shells appetizer were a flavor parade! Between the bacon, the rub , sauce, smoke, and sausage it was delicious!
