That’s some good looking Q. Glad you’re getting to show off the Yoder 👍 Cooked some yesterday... Challenge you to try... Deboned Chicken with Dirty Rice Stuffing Wish I could post some pictures on here Looked nearly as good as yours 😁😁

Hey did you debone it or get one of those Cajun ones? I’ve been wanting to try the one from H-E-B.
@PF10203 жыл бұрын
Deboned it myself, took about 15 minutes. Not as hard as you think it would be.

Love smoked chicken! Does the Yoder have the ability to sear over the firepot?
@BBQbyBiggs3 жыл бұрын
Yes it does. It has a removable cover on the left side. I got the grill grates to put over this one. It’s an awesome set up.

I'm trying to learn about these Yoders and why they are worth paying so much more than the average pellet grill. I notice that people who's serious about BBQ always use them.
@BBQbyBiggs2 жыл бұрын
So I had a regular pellet grill and it lasted about 3 years and the burn pot rusted out. Great grills but made with cheap materials. These and the Lonestar Grillz pellet are American made with thicker steel not stamped steel. Also use the FireBoard controller, also American made. If I was buying another I would definitely consider the Lonestar Grillz as well. Very happy with the Yoder. Will still be around in 15 years.
@danthony86032 жыл бұрын
@@BBQbyBiggs Thank you. I do like the fact that they are American-made. I also can tell by just looking at the Yoder on your video that it's a better metal then what's on my Camp Chef Deluxe pellet smoker. I can also tell by the way so much smoke escapes while I'm cooking that it is not of the best quality. The Lonestar is definitely out of my league. If I was looking at the right one it was almost $2,500. I would only spend that much if I was some kind of a competition barbecuer. If there was a significant taste difference in the food you make on a Yoder or Lonestar I could see it, but right now I guess I'm not on that level.

I had a higher end pellet "smoker" (pitts and spitts) it didn't produce enough smoke for me at all so I went with the lone star grillz large ivs couldnt be happier...pellet cookers are easy and versatile but just don't get the smoke output for the cost...good looking chicken
@BBQbyBiggs3 жыл бұрын
I have the Lonestar Grillz Mini and love it. Definitely my go to for smoking, This will fill in on some of the things the IVS cannot do. Open fire grilling, high heat searing etc. It actually was more flavorful than I expected. Time will tell.
@BBQbyBiggs3 жыл бұрын
I wanted the Lonestar Grillz one but after a year of waiting I went with the. Yoder.

Cut just one side of the backbone. After all the good pieces are ate boil down what's left. Makes very good chicken and noodles.

Hows the flavor on a pellet versus a stick burner?
@BBQbyBiggs3 жыл бұрын
There is definitely a difference. It has plenty of smoke flavor just a little different. It is still very good flavor but stick will always give you better. Each has their place. If I had no time it would be pellet. If I wanted to tend and drink a few, it would be stick. If I was cooking for a group, stick. Just my family? Pellet.

when it is burning clean the smoke is hard to detect, plenty of smoke and smoke flavor. Thanks for watching!
