I would trust a player scav in Tarkov (playing as a PMC) over any random player in DayZ. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I will try and wave and talk and make contact, just for the fun of it. But the moment they sketch me out, it's over. I've run with people for hours and bonded with them, only to have them lead me to their friends and betray me.
