To answer your question: the "Smokey Bear" who survived the fire was in fact real. My father (who's quite old) was a local-born of New Mexico and he bore witness to all of these events as a child. He even remembered seeing the bear up close

“Who wanted this?!” Everyone, apparently. They had a huge poll at a convention where the audience decided a Death Battle they had to do in the future, and the audience demanded Smokey vs. McGruff. So this is actually one of the battles that only exists because the fans wanted it.

The current Smokey is a mascot. Existing in the realm of fiction. And fun fact, will be turning 70 in August. The original Smokey or "Hot foot Teddy" was a real bear that died in 1975. Considering that your average black bear only lives about 22 years he lived a nice long life.

@@toobadwaluigitime6402 I dont remember the year I believe it was swg if I remember the other was kirby vs. Ditto bit they consulted the fans after the event because of research on ditto (can only turn into things it sees basically) and got a fan vote to change it to kirby vs. Majin buu

fun fact this battle was actually going to be one of the first maybe the first one on the channel but at the time they didn't have the budget or the animators to make it possible, but well now that the channel grew ben and chad they managed to give birth to this baby... so yeah It was basically a passion project for the channel : D and yeah it is a pretty bizarre battle but that is one of the reasons why it is one of my favorites ... is just off the wall fun.

Why? One, that would be WAY too one-sided. Damien was genetically enhanced to be better than a normal human and was raised and trained by two of the deadliest assassins in the world. Hit-girl was raised and trained by a comic geek who had too much time on his hands. Two, I just think Laura has a lot more in common with Damian. Both of them are the offspring of famous heroes and both were genetically engineered and trained to be merciless murderers. Also, they're both total edgelords, just like their fathers.

Okay, Damian doesn't have a healing factor like Laura, but he does have a lot more weapons and gadgets at his disposal. And he did go through superior combat training. Each of them have their own share of advantages.
