Smokey Mountain Oil Painting

In Smokey Mountain Oil Painting I do this nice composition based on a photo I took on a recent trip. When painting from photos I try and paint in the same Plein Air Painting style I would employ if I was standing there.

I did see that figure in there when I was editing. It was like I put a bandana on his head and then he disappeared. One I saw it I couldn’t stop looking at it.
