I wore the whole steve francis magic jersey getup in an exhibition game against the coaches in high school. Jersey, shorts and black and blue nikes. First time we ever beat the coaches (i was in 10th grade) and i had 33 points. When you look good and feel good you play good and that jersey made me feel invincible

Steve Francis and baron davis were SO elite. Both of them were the first truly dope point guards I found to follow as a kid getting into the NbA. To this day they still have some of the most exciting playstyles I’ve ever seen. John Wall, Westbrook, Francis, rose, Davis, Deron, etc all of those point guards who somewhat mastered assisting, handles, dunking, blocking, speed, 3s, etc! All of them could do all of that at at least an NBA level. And the best part of all of them was that they had natural flash to their games. Flash and flair in a scoring-passing PG who is comfortable shooting is the perfect combination of an entertaining basketball player

Steve Francis' all star snub in 2005 was what derailed his career. He must've lost motivation after that or something.
