The weather was about to turn bad so I decided on another fishing trip before it did. ( We ended up by having a lot of rain and this spot got flooded out). Last try for a kingfish here before the river mouth closes for the season.

Hi Mate I just bought a lifestyle block near you so will keep an eye out for you on the fishing spots. I smoke my fish on the webber like you but I use only wood and 1 hour smoke with my method a bit of rain don't matter one bit set and forget. :)

The coals didn't quite finish the head off and it was getting late. I just got mashed kumara/ riwai , fried onions, parsley and dipped in egg and panko crumbs. Very sweet they were 😀😀

Nice cook up mike shame about the heat for the head mate fish cakes looked great ,update on my kamukamu plants four plants was all I planted really healthy have one for myself and gave one to my dad ,and brother n law and another to a friend I hope they go threw the winter will put frost cloth over mine when I plant it and my other winter veges ,coli ,brockilii , and silverbeets ,thanks bud , cheers , shaneo, nelson, 👍
