YUM!! Thanks for making this video, been kicking around the idea of buying a Smoker, I know my dad would love it. Good thing we don`t eat with our eyes, I`d weigh about 300 pounds!😍🤤🥰😋 Have you tried smoking a whole chicken?

YES! So good!! They sell 2 packs of young hens at the store, which smoke up lovely! This Cuisinart smoker was a couple 100 bucks on Amazon. The gasket that I just put on was less than $10, and makes all the difference in the world, both in shortening cook time and increasing flavor. I bought a cover for it to keep it out of the rain. I plan on touching it up with heat-resistant spray paint, the same way I do my grill, as it ages. The smoked wings I make with mine are absolutely out of this world. Everything is so easy once you've smoked a couple of times and get to know the process. Slow and low, set it, and (mostly) forget it. I check on mine about every 15 minutes for the first hour, as the temp is variable depending on how much meat you've put in and relative outdoor temperature. On the coldest of days when I was smoking, when it was in the 40s, she did struggle to maintain temperature. But that was before I put the gasket on. I'm not sure how it would do now.... And in the heat of the summer, you have to turn it down, because it's obviously a lot hotter outside. This means you don't have to provide as much heat as you would in the winter. Think about it, but be prepared to gain weight! 😩
