Such a great new song! I hope you guys never stop music. Been listening since I was 14 and I'm 43 now. (Angus Soundtrack lol) Love the new jam!

I was just plowing through 7 classic Spopes songs and found this. I'm blown away. This is outstanding. I'm blown away. One of the greatest bands of all time. I'm blown away.

Every contributor to their songs brings something beautiful, but I for one could listen to just the drum tracks and be happy. The man in the Detroit T-shirts always brings his own party. Detroit T-shirt guy is always on fire. I love everything about your music.

The SP guitar sound is one that sticks with me. I bought Born to Quit when I was a teenager and it remains one of my favorites to this day. But Into the Agony had a sound that was very straightforward and the guitar had more low frequencies present. This guitar tone reminds me of that. I love the 90’s guitar sounds because it was about the guitar and amp, and not much else. Weezer is an example of that. There are very few authentic guitar tones that are out in public these days. The Smoking Popes are keeping that 90’s sound alive.

Wow I bought your album DECADES AGO. My Lucky Day was the song that made me a fan. Glad to see you guys are stillmaking music.

Holy crud this has the makings of a Born to Quit/Destination Failure/Duvall type record!!! This song has a Morrissey (Southpaw Grammer) type feel ie. Boy Racer, Dagenham Dave. I miss the Phil Bonnet "roomy" (for lack of a better word) type sound, but I do like Josh's vocals a little brighter and reverb than usual. Super stoked for this new record. Fingers crossed there is a fast BPM song like Not that Kind of Girlfriend. I finally have something to look forward too. Hope they sell it on CD (yes I said that)😅.

I'm mystified that there are not 10M views for this. Call me crazy. There must be a glitch in the matrix algorithm.
