GREAT JOB😃B, dude! SUPER REAL! As you mentioned, wanna be careful w/ applying pressure to the foam & figures may not be able to stay standing solid. So, Is there another material other than the foam to make the concrete look w/ colors? Like types of wood, plastic or metal?

Just fount this video! Great, concise, clear tutorial...thank you for the lesson! One question...where did you purchase the super thin XPS? It's almost as hard to find as unicorn teeth.
@smolworldworkshop Жыл бұрын
Thank you! And I’m glad you like the video! Unfortunately, I don’t know where to buy sheets of thin foam. I only have 1-2” thick pieces where I’m from. I just cut the thickness down with my proxxon hot wire table. You could try looking at eBay, I’ve heard that some people sell thinner sheets that they cut down themselves! Not too sure about how clean and accurate they are though

Love your videos...If possible, please help me to better understand the formula for making your black wash... Thank you...
@alanwhite62932 ай бұрын
I use woodland scenics Black pigments for a black wash- just a little blob plus water to thin, and you have a nice water based Black wash, you may need to go over it two or three times once the first coat is dry, or you may be happy with the first one, do it so your'e happy with it. If the first coat is too black, thin with more water directly onto the piece before it dries.

What did you use for the black wash?
