the newer versions of the Move Plug-in, has made some small changes. You can find it on Move Action Filter, on the Action dropdown menu, select 'Source Hotkey'

What do I do if the Move Action filter is missing the Trigger Action's Source and Hotkey options? 5:50 (UPDATE): I found out they added an action button that once pressed, select Source Hotkey for the source and hotkey stuff.

UPDATE: Use this artifact instead. It's pushed by Exeldro, so technically it's an alpha version of the plugin. Again, treat it like a band-aid solution until Exeldro officially releases a new version: github.com/exeldro/obs-move-transition/suites/8610412940/artifacts/386222576

Hey man! Great tutorial, thk u so much! By the way, i have a little problem. When i change to any other scene (not the talk scene or the game scene), and then switch to any of this 2 scenes, both audios are sounding at the same volume. Is there any way to, for example, if im in another scene and i switch to the game scene, make the spotify music automatically go down?

You should have action filters on the other scenes that would make your Music Audio output go down.

Yeah.....this doesn't work on audio sources....let me expand The audio KEEPS playing even tho you can't hear it.....how do you RESTART the audio to play from the beginning? Instead of adding the audio source to EVERY SINGLE SCENE.....just add the audio source DIRECTLY to the volume up and volume down embedded scenes....that solved one problem. I have an intro song that I want to play while stream is waiting to start and fading in and fading out are nice to have versus an abrupt change....however, this is NOT a very good solution for that.

I think in your audio source you make sure the check mark is selected to "Restart playback source when source become active".

I believe on your media source settings, there should be a "Restart when Source becomes Active" checkbox.

I have tried this over and over and over and can not get it to go. You sure do move through the settings way too fast. I find myself having to start stop go back and watch again so many times and just to end up failing. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Is this working with the current release of OBS? Thank you.

It might be an outdated version of the move transition. I also don't use the 3rd party audio capture plugin by bozbez anymore since it stopped working after OBS 28.1.

I will also test this on OBS 29 and check on Exeldro's github if there's issues on it.

@@DjLexXxusEDM4LIFE Nice! Glad you figured it out. Sorry I didn't get back to you. I haven't extensively stayed on my PC long enough to tinker with OBS again. Ill try to keep things on a slower pace next time when making a tutorial.

Thanks for the tutorial. I didn't like the issues, however it set me on the path to find a better plugin. If you're still using the Move Transition plugin, I recommend using the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin instead. Once set up, it continues to work, even if you close OBS. Sorry to self promote, but I just made tutorial on how to use the Advanced Scene Switcher for smooth audio fades between scenes. I'd recommend checking it out. 🧡
