Thanks Mike, great video, I often liken myself to a swan.. nice and graceful on top….but padding like mad below the surface 😅

Very smooth Mike. Rarely, however, do I see a more conclusive explanation for why I just don't need to ever rush about like that...

2:47 looked like he was encroaching onto your side of the road when you turned out and sounds like there's a chipmunk riding your bike 😂 This upload reminds me of a certain vlogger who recently did advanced training but that wasn't speeded up in editing 😉

I think the shadow (the sun is facing me) of the car makes it look like that but it was on its side of the road. The chipmunk is the the SatNag lady 🤣😄

I saw that certain vlogger and those videos on advanced training actually made me unfollow them. There are a lot of things about that "advanced training" that made my observer brain cringe, especially in regard to safety and perception of other road users

I too consider the grey tarmac to be a river that I am sailing down being taken by its flow. The flow on the faster straights the slower flow round bends the slowing and speeding up as and where necessary. All so peacefully calm and without haste or increased danger. The road is my river, it controls whatever I do and I enjoy it.

Very poetic. 👍

Further to that whilst I am enjoying my ride, just like being on or in a canoe on a river, if I make too sudden a movement I could easily destabilase and capsize the canoe and out or off I come. So nice easy smooth moves earlier rather than later are beneficial and safer. Ride smooth and flow with the river.
