I don't believe its forced. It's kinda like how you can't stutter when you sing. It comes natural. Maybe it can be explained by easy onset of speech . idk just a guess . :)

She's not being forced to sing american, its about phonetics how words are pronounced, and alot of vocal teachers teach their students to round out their vowels and when you sing it gives off an American like accent when singing, plus when singing its not like talking because phrasing is different and how words are stretched out etc, it has to do with that.
