Beautiful piece ! Can't stop to listen to you. Very nice sound. What's your opinion about the low b ? I'd like to buy one, but I have some fear about the b string. What kind of string did you use ? Is it the stock strings ? Please continue to share your work, it's brilliant.

hi Sebastien! the low b is good ... the action on this kind of instruments is the challenge. if you reach the 3.5 mm on the low side , you can't ask for better. cheers

to play like that on a fretless bass...thats next level :D. but its also very nicely improvised. would be a hell of a session night in a jazzclub tbh^^. for example le dreher with carl ratzer (or emily remler^^) on guitar and chet baker on trumpets joe brancato on drums ;D. anyways, i wanted a fretless since long time after playing a bass with frets. the ibanez srh 505f is very expensive for me, but iwasnt sure about the hb acoustics. you amde me tryin it that way for a start.txh

This is an absolutely wonderful bass solo. Absolutely fair play to you. I have really enjoyed this. 2 questions: 1) How did you find this Harley benton out of the box? 2) Are you using any effects on this solo? Bravo

Thank you! No effects here ,just a little reverb from the daw. This Bass out of the box had a little issues with the piezo (different volume Through strings) and the bridge needed a little filing in order to reduce the action

I'm taking delivery of the 4 string version of yours, but I want to pre-order flatwound strings before it arrives and I'm unsure what scale length to get (medium or long scale). Thomann's website says it's a long scale, but others have said it's a medium. ? Very confusing.

grazie andrea. sinceramente no perchè ha lastiera cieca e un action più alta di un elettrico (con una tastiera decente, ovviamente). se ti vuoi avvicinare al fretless ma non spendere molto ti consiglio il modello jazz bass sempre Harley Benton ..lo trovi tra i miei video

C'è poco da settare. L'unica ė limare il ponte in plastica e regolare poi di conseguenza il trussrod.

@@lpolli87 i problemi maggiori riscontrati su questi strumenti sono 1}volume delle corde non omogeneo causa il piezo non proprio perfetto 2)action stratosferiche. Fortunatamente entrambi sono risolvibili con una 50ina di euro dal liutaio (se nn sai farlo da solo) Buona musica Lucio
