It's overrated, the idea behind it is so that whenever you are jumping it's harder for them to hit upper body shots, but in games like COD where aim assist is strong, it doesn't really do much lol.

This game sits in a weird place between counter strike and cod for me, I really don't know how to feel about it because the animations just don't look as satisfying as cod, (That's the counter strike influence of feeling kind of old) but there is something refreshing about it, like it's trying to just be a simple, more straightforward fps. The awkwardness and part that makes this game not look great to me comes with the lower quality or effort that seems to have gone into the animations, which I'll admit I am a bit more picky about when it comes to games. Bad animations, either because they aren't satisfying or because they get cutoff in awkward places can ruin the gameplay experience for me. Same goes for sound design, but I think Xdefiant does fine in the sound department, but a good example of this are the guns feeling deeply unsatisfying in BF3 and BF4 after playing BF1 and BFV and I loved BF3 and BF4 when they were the newest BF games. I think I notice this same issue with MW3 guns vs MW2 or MW2019 guns, they just felt way more punchy, loud and impactful before MW3, and I think the way they were animated with the "shake" helped too.

Hello can someone please help me? I want to buy vanguard to ps5 but I'm very paranoid. Vanguard is using dedicated servers for multiplayer so it's in theory safe from the RCE/RAT problem right? But what about private matches and zombies? Does it use peer to peer? If I want to play those can someone hack me or solo and private matches are safe?
