Smoothbore is good because it's bugged right now. Rather since the Shotgun pellet changes. Since then, Smoothbore does not increase spread. Means the only downside to this barrel doesn't exist right now, the only thing Smoothbore does is +15 range, nothing else, no further advantages no disadvantages

I have a Fractethyst with smooth bore, accurized, QuickDraw, range masterwork and trench barrel. Based on what you’ve said in this review this roll might even be better given how often melee clean ups happen and the handling/damage buff you get afterwards

My retold tale is phenomenal. Only thing it’s missing is a range masterwork. I’ve BEEN using it, as it’s always be solid for me. But now it’s even better after the pattern change. It’s heavenly. It’s got 90 range with QD/Snapshot. It’s so good! I got a OSK on a guy from close to 7m and I screamed because that’s the new map lol. I was sure I’d had to swap to my primary for a final shot but it wasn’t necessary. 👌🏾

Just looked in my vault for a laugh, and found I got cheeky one sitting there. With smoothbore/small bore accurized round, slide shot, snapshot and range masterwork. Never been so happy,kept that🤘 thanks for the prompt

I've had a god roll retold with full choke and smoothbore, except instead of Quickdraw its got slideshot, so I've technically got the highest possible range for retold, since I've also got accurized and range mw

Unless Xur sells that exact roll, I don't think we're gonna be able to get our hands on a Factethyst any time soon. However, Yes. Opening Shot is goated on Shotguns. There's a reason Wastelander was being used so often before the shotgun change.

@@iamglooo I don't think it's a bug, it's something Bungie does every now and then for certain weapons (for some reason). Red Spectre and Eirene sniper rifle from D1 both had more impact than they actually had. Matador is the same
