Me as well. But I think that only cats with aggressions are damaging the furnishings or kicking glasses and other stuff around. But Smoothie and Milkshake are very happy cats.

No, I disagree. I have a cat who only drinks from water glasses. He will leave that glass alone because he knows it has his water in there. But for fun, he will knock things over sometimes. He likes to see them fall. He has no aggression at all. I've gotten him some soft small things that he can knock over so he can watch them fall down. Does he still sometimes shove things down that are not the small soft things? Yes, but he is a cat, and I have accepted he might make a mess sometimes. We all do, if you think about it. But if you had a cat that was always destroying stuff, yes, there might be a problem, and it's usually that the person doesn't understand cats. The internet has been a huge boon to cats in general, I think. People understand them more now.

Cats do seem to be quite fascinated by ice cubes. My kitty, LOVES an ice cube added to his water fountain......and my female kitty used to "sop" up the water like yours for a drink....hard to tell how many glasses of water had some kitty paws dipped into them that we were unaware of. Kristi A. Jones - This is why I keep secure lids on all glasses and cups.... Even when the cats are elsewhere, their hair is floating around everywhere (not to mention other things they shake from their paws). I would never allow a computer anywhere near a glass of water, even without a cat around!!! Disaster in the making. Speaking from sad experience. Way too much sad experience.

OMG...what is it with Cats and Glasses of water with Ice Cubes?? This just happened to me 2 nights ago. I was at my friend's place for dinner - she has 4 cats ( one is still a kitten). I had my glass of ice water on the little table beside me. The kitten and the youngest cat just helped themselves to my ice water and then started pawing my ice cubes. Cats are endlessly fascinating/ entertaining. ❤️😻
