Im proper jealous mate. Ive been trying to get a smoothhound for ages now. We get them here on the coast of Cumbria around May time when the crabs start peeling then they leave September time. So im gonna try my best next year to catch one. Dont care the size if its a smooth hound im happy.

a couple of tips for Dover with the strong tide square drop net so it don't roll along in tide and 8 oz weight 18 lb line a must realy and we fished pushbike spokes as your wire long do any tide od admiralty
