Honestly it’s a funny bit in moderation, but I think in some videos they do push the bit too much, like the connection game, Trevor had some poor answers and some solid answers but they wrote him off every time because he took the prompt in a different direction or they just didn’t get it. And with all these jokes that they’re not friends (though I’m sure it IS a joke), him being the new guy, and him mentioning in a deleted tweet that he was worried about people’s opinion after joining smosh, it’s uncomfortable to watch sometimes. I just ended up feeling bad for him.

It just feels like they aren’t supporting him at all. Which is such an essential rule of improv that most of them definitely know because they do it all the time. Those 3 in the connections video were just letting him bomb and putting him down.
