Fun fact: The pronounciation "Jingus" is closer to the truth than Gengis. His name was actually pronounced Chingus Haan, Haan being the tile of king. I'm pretty sure there was a mix up in one of the European countries didn't have the ch sound and changed it to a g. Also, the h in Mongolian is pretty far in the back of the throat so it is written with a kh even though there isn't a hard k sound.

No, I've seen the documentary, X-Men, and if Wolverine, mid sliding offLibby's head, can catch his self and swing up to get back to that dome piece of stable footing, instead of just grabbing on and swinging 'around', then I think Lady Libby's head spikes are more horizontal than anything. This seems like the kind of game that you can play only once or twice.and then you know all the answer. Also Draco was extremely love because he was the "leader" of the radicalisation of the Athenian Democracy towards the mass of citizen that were less fortunate. He gave them, woth is draconian laws, the possibility to kick out every sophists or manipulators of the democracy etc.

there's another wrinkle to the Genghis Khan story, at least according to QI... to have at least some means of finding the gravesite of their Khan again, after all the builders and slaves who knew its location were killed, they also killed a baby camel in front of its mother on that site, and the mother camel would remember forever the location of where her baby had been killed... probably an apocryphal cherry atop an already exaggerated yarn, but quite interesting nonetheless...

For the first one with Eleazar, there's like a 400-year gap between the OT and NT, so there's no way a death from 162BC was documented in the Old Testament. Edit: That story is from Maccabees, which is not in the Protestant Bible. Makes sense

Shayne must have heard that shark story from me, hahaha. My ACTUAL story: A few years ago I was at a beach in RI and saw a small sand tiger shark beached on the rocks. I put the shark (about 2.5 feet long) back into the water and it gave my ankle a quick slap with its tail before it swam off. A beached animal is probably going to be more interested in getting away to safety than to hang out for a snack.
