I feel like your comment plays into the greater misogyny of why she doesn't a lot of female characters - she's admitted she doesn't feel like she can be goofy in those characters because they're female. But Angela is evidence that women are goofy inherently. Your comment should be "eight year old girl with asthma" etc. I know this is a comment section and whatever, but saying a woman is most similar to men is an underhanded compliment. When I played house with my friends I was always made to play the dad, the brother or the dog cause I wasn’t a girly girl. I appreciate her being a woman in the entertainment industry being willing to play those male roles while still being feminine. I never knew she made that comment of being uncomfortable in doing so and meant nothing hurtful by it. Like I said I found it relatable and comforting as I was always put in that same box because I’m a tomboy and have always been seen in a more masculine light by my peers. I appreciate you pointing this out to me so I can fix my comment, thank you!
