My heart goes out to young Courtney. We laugh, but I think all of us were emotional and dramatic and mean like that in middle school. We're experiencing feelings we've never felt before, and we're confused about it all, and every little heart break feels like it will kill us. I'm just glad she matured over time, as it's clear the rest of the Smosh crew have. Some people honestly never do. But, being a person who still has records of middle School and elementary school diaries who high key pulled a Helga G. Pataki, I thoroughly felt her embarrassment to my core. That would just as easily be my emotional, neurotic heart, mind, and ass on full display for the world to see, so I feel for Courtney. I also found it brave of her to put this precious time of her development, in all it's weird glory, with only names changed to protect the innocent.
