28:00 seamonkeys are also known as brine shrimp or artemia. They are the smallest shrimp and most commercial fish companies use them as feed (for table shrimp, farmed fish, crabs, squid, exotic aquarium fish, etc). At my work, we grow them to feed to our fish for enrichment. In an ideal environment, they'll hatch in less than 24 hrs. They can live for a little bit but, from my experience, usually die and the water will get gummy in a little over a day after they hatch. The dried eggs are available and can last on the shelf for years. To hatch them, you put them in salt water and wait. They're actually really cute if you look at them under a microscope

1) I’m pretty sure I had that exact pair of plaid shorts. 2) Justice for the Goosebumps book! Those were all the rage in elementary school.

I felt the same. Everyone read Goosebumps. Animorphs was my true go to, but Goosebumps was second.

Omg Chance unlocked an insanely distant memory when he talked about making topographical maps in school. We painted it in different colors depending on elevation. I think white lowest to dark red highest.

I read it in elementary school and people 100% thought I was smart for it, not because of what the book was about but because it was over 500 pages and nobody liked reading. They saw a thick book and assumed "oh he's smart, he reads a lot" no I just like magic and dragons. Same thing happened with Harry Potter once they started getting past 200 pages

Same thing happened to me! I had COMPLETELY forgotten. My 4th grade class made maps of my state out of salt dough and we definitely got to paint them when they hardened.
