To be fair need to make sure they can't go for weapons later in case their terrorist trying to hide among the passengers, also handcuffs discourage the innocent from doing dumb things like trying to help which will get them killed and if the mission fails they are less likely to just be blown away by the terrorist because they are still secured. Basically its all meant to ensure the most safety for all the people who aren't terrorist.

I know this is 2 years ago but ever heard of SWAT 4 It has similar objectives on securing the civilians and you don't want civies running around panicking during a gunfight.

Great high score playthrough! Man, if Time Crisis 3 weren't my baby I'd say that Ghost Squad is the best arcade shooter of all time. I went through a bunch of cards with this game. At age 8 I could consistently 1CC this game. I loved the amount of content in this game compared to Time Crisis. So many routes, levels, variations, all the costumes and weapons. And yet it still had linearity for muscle memory. I have three Ghost Squad arcade guns (the controllers without the internals) that I've kept since 2006. I used to play with them with my friends as a kid. They had the front foregrip where the action button is located snapped off though, as they were discarded shells from the tech department of the video arcade company my dad worked for at the time.

A first-aid box in Operation GHOST is harder than a boss in Ghost Squad. What have SEGA done, LOL.

Operation GHOST is way more greedy than GHOST Squad. It only have one first aids every stage compared to GS's 2-3 per stage, and they're ridiculously hard to find. It also have hidden dynamic difficulty where it rises dramatically according to your shots fired and hit count. From normal enemies taking 4 seconds to hit to just 1 on EVERY enemy. Kevlar can straight up nulls damage when playing single shots. Weapons with limited Full Autos also charges their ammo per critical shots instead of spammable meter bars. Locking you at most to 300 ammo per stage and boss only takes damage when shot a certain way or certain position which complicates dramatically with dynamic difficulty.

The way I deal with the boss in Mission 2 is wait until the last 2 seconds. In which he'll stand and not move, I find that to be the best opportunity on getting a headshot. Though I don't really like to risk taking the shot straight away like you do. XD

I always thought the grey uniform of the terrorists in mission 2 cargo area was supposed to help them camouflage with the cargo. I could be wrong but its a unique aesthetic.

Well played! Yeah, the three huts its a 50:50 chance because one of the huts, you see smoke, so its McCoy, it could be either a tricky area where you shoot down several enemies, and avoid the civilians followed by the end with a melee knife enemy as a surprise or the marker real time part. I'll be looking forward to the next replay to offer! I remember seeing your streaming videos, will it be House of the Dead for your next project? Since HOTD: Scarlet Dawn has been announced in Japan. (hope it comes to the west, a popular arcade series we haven't seen for a while)

Rather than being random, I remember the H2H hut having something to do with the medal count.

It seems to be this way, but on this version at least, it doesn't seem to count every medal as a medal. If I get every medal, it should be the left of smoke as the correct one, but if I miss one, it's the right of smoke one, miss two and it is left again. I think it doesn't count them as medals when it shows 3 shot burst instead of medal. This happens once in this run, at 12:23 and because of this, I chose the hut that is right of the smoke one.

Looks like that's right, you can only count medals that are shown on screen. I don't remember the arcade being this way, but it's been a while. I'd buy GS again if Sega rereleased it for PS4. I like it more than Operation Ghost. Nicely played, Smraedis.

I must admit I find it rather.... strange that the highest level of mission wouldn't be the best one for actual score. But then again, you said to someone else that the highest level only has one target per attack in the hand-to-hand sections, so I'm guessing it's all about the raw accomplishment when it comes to score. Also, I'm sadly only familiar with the cardless arcade version of this game, so the SPR-11 is new to me (I'm more used to the TK1B). Anyways, in the description for your last video you briefly mentioned emulation of light-gun games. Given that Time Crisis 5 (the game that seems to be on a number of your viewers' minds) does not appear to have a home release yet (giving you less to practice with), I might as well throw in a few more games for consideration: Confidential Mission, Bang!, and One Shot One Kill. In case any of the viewers don't know any of those three games: The first plays somewhat like Virtua Cop, the latter two play kinda like Point Blank. Also the latter two aren't exactly overdone on KZbin yet.

As enemies attack quicker on Level 16, you can't line them up as good to get double downs, so you'd score less. Being on Level 8 has all the extra enemies, and all of the best routes available. For other games, I have been looking at Confidential Mission, it has a rough difficulty system that punishes you for not losing lives, but I'll try it some more. Time Crisis 5 will most likely be done at some point, when I have access to do it.

Why did you start with Mission 2 first?

At first I would do Mission 2 first as the accuracy bonus is based on total accuracy, getting me a few thousand more points (I know the reverse happens now). Other reasons are that Mission 2 has more things to go wrong, such as the stealth mission at the start when on Level 8, and missing the head shot on the boss.
