There are many escape exits scattered in each tunnel, and station. This was done on Circle Line, and DTL as well. Each exit around 100 meters apart, depending on the area.

Yup, there's was a friends of LTA event at 8.30am which is not open to the public and hence not part of the open house. As stated, this video showcases the first train of the open house.
