I got my 2019 vivid black in June and now almost 5K km clocked. Really enjoy the bike! No problem at all with the shifter position + i think it adding style during shifting. Really enjoy it!

Its not M8 but EVO is stone reliable.Only HD I want to get is XR1200 with 90HP sadly HD stopped making basically stolen from Buell.That's a riot of a bike true ground clearance great looks and fast! I am looking over craiglist

The pegs are my biggest complaint about the bike and I am looking to fix that with a set of rearsets but the Roadster is one fun bike to rip around on. I've had mine since the prerelease. I have to laugh at the LCD speedo as I can almost never actually see it in the daylight, but who wants to know how fast you're going anyway ;) It's really too bad your test ride was so short and he didn't let you have any fun.

Yeah I was really disappointed in the route when they showed us it. But it was an opportunity to ride some cool bikes. I wondered how it would be with forwards myself. Glad you liked it anyways. I rode a couple softails and a road glide special that day to. I have videos for all of them on my channel.

Forward controls on a roadster would look so dumb. Lol

I’ve seen them with forwards and the look just fine. Besides a 48 comes with them and they look awesome. I kinda want to get a Roadster, put forwards on it, lower the back, throw a cool sissy bar on it, and just cruise. That or get a 48, got a bigger tank for it, and get upside down forks for it.

@@WoodyRides that would defeat the whole purpose and design of the roadster. Might as well go with a completely diff bike.

On the Roadster you get the better suspension and you could drop the back for nothing. Then it would set just like any other sportster. Then you can get forwards for like $200 or $300 and make it more comfortable to ride. Check this out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nICnY4GYdpdrick Cheaper than upgrading the suspension and switching out the tank on a 48. Probably 3k just to put upside down forks on a 48.

You could go forwards and its fine, but the response changes a ton and there is nothing like the aggressive stance and leaning in when you get on it through the twisties. I have a '17 and after a stage 1 is plenty of power.

Mine roadster has forward controls, too low and catch hard on the road, but, I road my other sportsters hard enough to grind a third of the peg away on the road. Miss the lower center of gravity with the old sportster peg position, now I have to push forward and down on the pegs, not exactly wonderful, great bike

WoodyOn2Wheels 0:53: 43,000 miles. Under 10K. Sticker says $9849. That’s over 10K with tax, title etc. It has 43,000 miles? I’m saying it’s worth maybe $6K at most.

Steve Protoss sorry I misspoke the number was the dealer number. If you look close at it says a 6 digit number starting with 43xxxx. 437078 is what I think it says. No way that bike had 43,000 on it. It’s from Ohio theirs no way someone put that many miles on it in that short of time.
