SMT 5 Essences and Essence Fusion Explained!

Thank You! I got the game a week plus late because of a mess up on the postal services front. Just gotten in to the game and loving it thus far. Subscribed and will watch more of your vids. As a long time SMT fan, played all main series and a lot of the side series and the grand father series megami tensei, I will say that it is more or less a staple of the series to under explain stuff 😂 And for me not having as much time to play as when I was younger love guides like this one explaining things quick and simple. Keep it up 😁

It not too late to make guides on smt v, because there barely if any guide on youtube except beginner/tips videos for smt v this compared to Monster hunter storie 2 were guides were coming out daily and in some cases every hour that basically explaining everything wath is in the game in short amount of time after game realest.

Little late to the party since i had to order a new Switch... Once thing i can't find info on: Can essence be regained? Say i have a pixie, use pixie essence. Will the pixie that gave me the essence eventual give me another one? Do i need to level up a new pixie? Or is essence a one time deal like the Magatama skills in SMT3 were?

Essences can be regained, however you can only hold 1 essence for each demon at a time (pretty annoying ngl). You can either buy the essence in Cadavers hollow if it is available there or you can gain them by beating the corresponding demon (either through regular drops or later on through a miracle where demons beg for mercy sometimes)

Tip: you should have actually performed the essence fusion on screen. You take the time to talk about it (generally) but miss out of providing an example. That would have helped a lot more since I just started playing the game, and it’s my first installment from the series. Thanks anyway!

No, but there's a chance of getting their essence when they level up after they have unlocked all their known moves.
