I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

The 2 who were standing right at the top are Kangta and BoA (the lady who ended the song) - they are the 2 most senior artists in SM at the moment, they debuted in 1996 and 2000 respectively. The guy who started the song is the late Jonghyun from SHINee. He is and will always be my fav kpop vocalist.

OMG me too! I Started with SHINee in 2011 and now my ultimate biases are Taemin, Kai, and Taeyong 😅 But my dad was an OG SM stan. He was into SES and BoA so i listened to them growing up! As you know... This singer - Johnhyun is from SHINee. You really should react to them. For example Stranger live or Like a fire. Their vocals!!!!!! They have very unique voices) even the rappers. I started liking K Pop because of SHINee. I actually started to watched them after Jonghyun passed. I felt very much affected I didn’t understand why since I didn’t know him. I found myself crying because of the incident. That naturally led me to do a search about SHINee. So in the course of my education In SMTOWN this is what I gathered. Kanta and BoA are soloist. I think Kanta used to be in a group too but they disbanded. BoA started at a young age of 13 and went to Japan all by her little self and learned how to speak Japanese. She really paved the way for Koreans to enter other markets. SM made her do ‘localization’ meaning sing songs in the language of the target market. Next is, TVXQ, TVXQ was really a vocal group with 5 members. I’ve listened to some of their songs and they were phenomenal. They’re so big in Japan they have the highest paid fan club membership at that time. They would fill up big event places. You should check out 2018 Nissan Stadium Concert of with just the two remaining members, TVXQ filled up that massive place, the stage even had a waterfall. DreamMakers the production arm of SM Entertainment is so good at what they do. It’s also one of the reasons why I love productions of SM they don’t scrimp on set design. Then Girls Generation they haven’t disbanded but it’s been a long time since the group did something together some have pursued acting and are signed up with different agencies already. TaeYeon is the main vocalist there and she is now a soloist. Jonghyun once said that she couldn’t beat Taeyeon in the SM weekly rankings so, if he can’t beat her, might as well join her so they collaborated on a song called “Lonely’ which Jonghyun wrote. SHINee has another main vocalist his name is Onew and TaeMin sings a lot now too considering that he didn’t even have any lines in SHINee’s debut song called ‘Replay’ he is now considered the ACE of SM cause he was their first idol who came from a group to become a soloist. Well everybody from SHINee can sing. Then for Super Junior they have this sub unit called Super Junior KRY that’s their vocal line, similar to CBX. You should also listen to them their amazing singers. Kyuhyun always sings OST songs. Then f(x) I really don’t know much about them. I think all of them left SM already but they’re not considered a disbanded group. I just know that they’re the counterparts of SHINee when it comes to sound. Then EXO, next is Red Velvet still very much active. Then the whole brand of NCT. For 127 the 4 vocalist from Coming Home called themselves 4 Seasons but it’s not a name that really stuck with them because they’re not officially a unit because NCT has United for all these concepts depending on the song. Then the latest girl group who I think is really making a name for themselves is aespa. There is a song that was performed by Chen and Jonghyun you might want to listen to it kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKqVoYeAl8-hhqM it’s an old video and they put the two main vocalist of SHINee and EXO to do a duet.
