I agree that Hyoyeon is unique. She has been an SM Artist for basically 15 years, but alot of people think she has YG vibes, and leaves people to wonder what path she would have been on if she was at YG from the start. She became part of SNSD, one of the legendary girl groups ever, but she always felt somewhat "out of place" since she had to roll with a different style that she grew up with. Now as a Soloist, she is able to express herself with concepts and music more suited to her. She has a strong character to be this accepting. Also, even though she changed her name to "Hyo", Koreans and SONES will always remember her as "Hyoyeon" and still lists and calls her that. Just like Tiffany, SONES and Koreans always just call her "Tiffany", even though like "Hyo" she changed her name to "Tiffany Young" in an attempt to appeal to International Fans more. It might be a tad confusing for people who want to follow their careers.

The first thing I noticed about Hyoyeon is actually her unique vocal and rapping tone, I normally notice kpop idol's dancing before vocals and rapping cuz I love dancing. Hyoyeon's on another level.
