I think the theory was the girls are shawols (shinee's fans) and they kidnap them to like.. escape the tiring idol life?... as with a lot of fandoms, there are toxicness too (a girl shoved herself towards a member) or just the actual act of kidnaping them in the first place, but the rest of the fandom are genuinely fans of them and wants them to have a break and have fun. I think the MV is trying to show the good and bad side of a fandom. CMIIW, I'm not a shawol but that's how I interpret it based on reading the comments at the time it was released
