I have to disagree on this because he is the center position in every photoshoot & interviews (with some rare exceptions, but never in the main photos) and he's the main dancer and main vocalist so he gets a lot of screen time compared to other SuperM members (like in the teasers and Monster & Infinity). He also takes part in all of their songs (like in No manners & Too fast) and sometimes gets the most lines too (like in 100). I'm actually quite happy about the way SM puts him at the front of many of their SuperM thumbnails for YT and Vlive. But I'm not happy about the fact that Criminal was rushed because of the Super One album and promotion ... 😔

​@@hlansc I know Taemin through SuperM. As someone who didn't know any members except for Kai and Baek, my impression was Taemin's some what important but I had no clue why he's important. Other member stands out. Baek's high note, Taeyong's vroom vroom, Ten's ballet like dance, Kai's dance and abs, Lucas's visual, Mark's rap. Yes Taemin sings and dances often, but it feels like he's just introducing others, then he leaves and let others shine. I was reluctant to learn about Taemin. Lucas and Ten were actually the first two members I wanted to know more about. When I finally watched Taemin's solo video, one video was what it took to reveal his aesthetic and talent and he became my ultimate bias. I feel Taemin in SuperM balances everyone but he's vey low profile. It's not about how many lines he gets, it's about the highlight moment. And back to your original comment. Yes it's such a shame. Crinimal and Think of You can easily attract a lot of new fans.

@@zhulin2531 I'm so glad you took an interest in him! To be clear, I was replying to someone who said SM shoves him in the back during SuperM activities. Taemin's personality remains the same, whether he's with SHINee or SuperM (I mean sure he's SHINee's baby and SuperM's huyng but that doesn't change the fact he's always been shy) but I actually noticed that he's been very outgoing (Mtopia ??) compared to usual ... I know for some people it might feel weird but Taemin is a real introvert (it will get better with time, the group is still new and they're not working together as often). So it feels refreshing to see him be an older brother hehe 😊 But that said, he's important because SHINee are legends and he's got the most accomplished solo career. And his dance, his voice ?? And pretty face ? 😂 Oh and I almost forgot his stamina ... been to SuperM live and I can tell you that it shows when the others get tired, but Taemin. Just. Keeps. Going. CRAZY. 😭 It's actually incredible how much energy and stage precense he has. Also he starts almost all of the SuperM songs (it's the most important part, JYP did a whole interview on that when talking about Nayeon) and he's the bridge guy too lol.

KZbin logic is that users will watch the video in the most comfortable for their eyes quality. We all know how 360/240/144p are sucks, and if we can afford - we are always trying to put it in higher quality. Even more impressive when you think about how he's been in the game for over 12 years as a 2nd gen idol and yet he still works hard to improve his dancing, vocals, and overall performance to this date. Even his fellow peers and respected seniors in the industry have heaped praise after praise on him for his artistry for years and he's been named by so, so many rookies and other idols as a role model. And for those who put more emphasis on numbers: this comeback is projected to be his most successful in terms of album sales, MV views, and charting. Act 1 had the highest first day sales out of all his albums so far, he charted #1 in 32 countries (beating his previous record of 29), Act 1 charted #1 on the US iTunes chart (which is his first time), and Criminal has the highest views in the first 24hrs compared out of all his releases so far. This was accomplished even with poor promotion by SM + a cancelled Japan tour that should've coincided with Act 1's release! Plus he hasn't promoted on any music shows (he starts next week!) or released his dance practice yet (coming soon according to him). So yeah, to show growth in statistics like these even after a whopping 12+ years in the industry is extremely, extremely impressive. You don't even need to consider the numbers when you can plainly see that his performances have only continued to improve year after year rather than being satisfied with staying stagnant in terms of vocals and dance. And this is also just Act 1 of the NGDA albums!! Act 2 hasn't even been released yet and he's already snatching everyone's wigs. This guy is an absolute legend.

It depends since the views for Criminal increased after SuperM's comeback i think SM is thinking in creating some kind of Playlist of MVs while releasing related MVs all together, it's SM after all, they are trying something new as expected. Risky but they might be planning something ofc.

SuperM album was made last year, MVs and dance practices filmed months and months ago... even the variety shows were recorded ahead of time. He hasnt really had overlapping scedules these days as SuperM hasnt done music shows nor concerts. Also i understand that making their comebacks close in time is for promotional reasons, because the reason for SuperM to exist is to get to promote SM groups/artists
