Because aespa is new and the recent. Sm always invests its new groups they always focus on new ones but if supposedly a new sm group debut aespa would be slowly neglected. The company is always like that that's why sometimes their idols move out when finished their contracts. And that's also one of the reasons why sm always wait for some or maybe a few years to debut a new group after the latest group usually when the latest group before is already stable like when aespa is maybe 5 to 10 years in the industry maybe sm would introduce a new group again because they tend to focus on and can handle one or two groups at a time. This is also why most of their idols are successful actually sm only neglect their idols when they're stable and can be successful in their own way.
