Honestly i love it whenever SM releases this stuff because its like a big "f yall lmao" to the people who say sm idols arent involved in their art. Hek no, they are involved. NCT may not be fully self producing or as hands on like Shinee but they're getting there.

Their idols (SM) are very well trained with music, vocal, rap basic, even public speaking. I think almost all NCT members can play at least 1 musical instrument. They just need a perfect time to start composing and producing their own song. Jaehyun said in the latest interview that at this time he's focusing in developing his vocal more than writing lyrics - composing song. I think as fans we have to appreciate it instead of saying that they dont really participate in making their music.

Mark and taeyong are the two nct members who have helped and have been involved with the production of nct’s music since the beginning of time. Mark and taeyong have wrote and co-wrote half of of nct’s Disagoraphy. Mark has written the most nct songs with in nct with more than 50+ writing credits under his name he wrote all three of his debut song when he was 16 in 2016 he wrote ( 7th sense , firetruck, chewing gum) he also has songs he fully wrote with taeyong ( mad dog , mad city ) etc and has produced those too. Taeyong is the second nct member who has written the most nct songs after mark with more than 49+ writhing credits under his name , he has produced some of nct’s sing , and wrote his debut songs ( 7th sense , firetruck) . Mark was 16 and taeyong was 19 when they debut and they were already writing they’re songs. I think that’s why in this video jeno asked mark if he was gonna wrote the raps in this song bc mark usually does in every song. This two are the most consistent members who are part of nct’s music production. But other members ( jeno , jaemin , jeno , jisung , Johnny , jaehyun , etc ) have also help co-wrote some songs just not as consistently. But nct defiantly have hands on they’re music production especially having two members who are leader ( mark and taeyong ) who lead them well in the studio. Nct always give there options and try to be involved in the music. Okie Ben if they didn’t write it.
