Inspired by the writings of Djohan Abdul Rahman, Sekonyong- konyong. Tiba-Tiba (meaning “Suddenness” in Malay) reflects the unexpected shifts in life. We explore the emotions of change, transformation, and surprise in our everyday lives through an exhilarating one-hour percussion music showcase featuring instruments from the Malay world, with traces of the Minangkabau, Javanese, Arab and many more.
