Fantastic analysis. Of the 4 first round match-ups, I see no visiting team affected by the weather. Not one of the visiting teams is Miami, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, or LSU. If you've ever been to Dallas, Knoxville, or Bloomington in December you know why.

A cold day here and there in Dallas isn't the same as cold weather that stays for months. I lived in Tampa Florida and State College I experienced cold in both places it's not the same. And with a wind blowing which it is calling for its cold as fuck! Even with long underwear or when running your limbs are cold even if you are sweating, you can't feel your nose, ears, fingers or toes. it hurts when you throw a forearm block until you have played in the cold for a while (at least a week). And then when you warm up at half time you have to step back out in the cold wet from your sweat.

Penn State will be able to run on SMU. PSU will when in the Trenches. SMU hangs around and you want a 2 to 3 score game because they are scary in the fourth quarter. I got PSU winning 35 to 24. SMU won't go away but PSU will stay consistent. SMU can't turn it over more than once if they want to get the shot at the end.
