Gameplay wise I think current sfv is the best; it'sextremely fair. However, alpha series has maybe the best sound design. I'm very nostalgic for getting bookit personal pan pizza from pizza hut and hearing japanese alpha 2 in attract mode. Good times.

@@chronology556 Maybe not worth it. Too different games... it's hard to fit in when you have a too prevalent SF background when growing up. And that's basically the definition of an american SF/MvC player. Even Justin, who is one of the multi game talents from the arcade era who is still sharp (one of the very rare old american players who isnt too biased for Capcom), he could barely keep with experienced KoF players who have less tournament history and less general fg experience than him.

I’m barely D Rank on fightcade for SFA2. But I’m certain that for Akuma’s Light Tatsu into DP to be effective, I’d personally recommend using crouching LK into Light Tatsu, then DP Fierce. Crouching LK is faster than Standing MP and Crouching MP. Crouching LK to me is better for setting up a punish to Light Tatsu.

I agree sfa2 is all you really need. Alpha3 is still great but there's something about the aesthetics of 2 that makes me like it better than 3. And 3rd strike feels more like a chess game although it's one if the best also in many respects.
