The disturbing thing about Salmonella’s bull crap is how it stains the public eye towards tourists, Japan is an example because you’re now limited on what you can record and take pictures outside of shopping centers.
@arizona_anime_fan6 күн бұрын
tbh, Japan was always a nation of unwritten rules. a lot of the legal changes in the wake of jake paul and salmonella (I like that nickname btw) are just codifying standing cultural rules. to the Japanese it isn't really a change of the rules. it just means its easier to convict a gaijin in the event he makes a public nuisance of himself. part of what handcuffed the Japanese courts with salmonella's antics is most of the "laws" he broke were cultural taboos. the Japanese legal system has been an unholy mix of written and unwritten cultural rules, and when there was a conflict, the courts usually sided with the cultural rules. the problem is without actual laws on the book, it would rapidly descent into an international incident had japan jailed salmonella with nothing more then a cultural rule. that sort of thing would be accepted by the citizens but most foreign nations would not take that. so the Japanese are now codifying chunks of their cultural rules so that in the future there wil actually be a law they can point to as something broken.

Like how babbling is referring to The Tower of Babble or how the word for Paradox in Chinese is the Chinese characters for “spear” and “shield”.
