I actually give some of them a chance in my Utopia timeline. The Ginyus are killed but I allow Zarbon & a few hundred Frieza grunts to survive. Cooler turns good & helps Bardock, Turles, & King Vegeta fight 5th form King Cold & afterwards reforms the Frieza empire. He sorta merges the former Frieza force with the Galactic Patrol.

Definitely one of the best What If Stories I've watched in a while. I was glued to my screen the entire time and i can't wait for the next part. As for the question of the week: Though Vegeta is my favorite character of the three choices, I'd probably go with Bardock. Paragus has only ever been about revenge on Vegeta, both in the original movie and in the Super movie and as its already been stated here in this part, his rule puts the Saiyans in a civil war. Vegeta wouldn't be fit to be King either as at that point he'd either be just like his father or even worse. Bardock's proven to care about his friends and family and I'm pretty sure that would extend to the Saiyan race as well as their allies in the former Freeza Force.

#DBQ If I were to choose any of them, it'd be Bardock. He originally was the only sole Saiyan who stood up for his people and faced Frieza headon. While the idea of Paragus being king is interesting, he would potentially lead it down a civil war as he'd have most likely had Broly kill any Saiyans who were in league of King Vegeta while Bardock on the otherhand would just want to rule it normally and potentially get rid of that class system. Like father, like son.

You know, Freiza's inability to sense energy would likely leave them open to attack by Ginyu when you think about it, since no matter how fast he was, it is possible he would never know the attack was coming until it was too late... also I have to wonder how it would have turned out if he had done the swap while Frieza was occupied by other forces... he would have been nearly unstopable then.

Depends on if king Cold is able to come after Ginyu. Assuming Cold is dead or too occupied to go all in on the matter? Ginyu could probably pull a coup of his own on the entire business, and that is assuming he doesn't outright fake being Frieza. He's got a lot of experience with Frieza's mannerisms and could easily destroy his old body as a cover.

What Toriyama should've done, is to rewrite the Saiyans to be the most powerful war-like species who only conquers powerful empires, fight only the strongest beings (that goes for not killing unarmed, innocent, or the weak) and have King Vegeta as a hardass, ruthless, fair, devotion to his people, and courageous in battle. He could've raised Vegeta as not only as a powerful Saiyan, but as a strong king who will put the interests of his people. And if Frieza did occupied the Saiyans, King Vegeta would send Bardock to a planet that has the power to give beings to foresee the future, so he could report back to the King and defeat Frieza before it happens. But they've failed, because Frieza have spies to dismantle the Saiyans' surprise attack against him. Boom! There you go.

I would support Bardock. His marriage to Gine, who was more of a civilian-type saiyan, led to him becoming more compassionate and "humane," which in turn, caused him to put himself in danger to save his fellow troops, which led to a general sense of admiration for him. While not pure-hearted, he would lead the saiyans based on what's best for the species, not on what's most profitable.

It is funny that Frieza managed to keep any kind of loyalty. He looked down on the weak but killed and feared those close to being strong enough to oppose him as well. Any time one of underlings die he shows no respect at all which can only hurt the feelings of those left behind. I do feel destroying planet Vegeta in front of at least the crew of his ship would of caused quite a stir. The Sayians were over all pretty strong and fairly loyal. Yet Frieza killed them all, it should of sent some serious doubts into his army. Sure I don't think many would think they could rebel, but they could run.
