Italian viewer here and i can give an explanation to the Spiderman line in Dragon Ball GT and for the theme song. During the 90s and early 2000s, it was common to see these kind of references in several dubs of different shows, it was part of the pop culture of the time, the 87 TMNT show has several references in the dub to A LOT of cartoons and comics of that period (in italy the series was aired in the 90s, and a lot of jokes about the animation errors were made for the dub as well). For the opening theme song: it's common in italy to not use the original theme songs for cartoon series, but instead making new ones, at least for mainstream channels. All the Dragon Ball italian opening songs were made by Giorgio Vanni and Max Longhi, they worked on A LOT of cartoon openings, most of that have that techo/electronic sound since it was a type of music very popular in Italy and Europe in general during the 90s. Giorgio and Max still works in the same field to these days, they even made an opening for Dragon Ball Super, wich was never used for the show, since Toei imposed to use the original japanese songs for the series, including the insert songs.

I remember my brother having the Goku, Gohan, and Krillin Burger King toys while I had that Blossom toy. When we would play together we would play with all four together as well. I remember liking the Gohan one the most since he was my favorite character. Still is, but I was definitely a big Gohan fan when I was in elementary school. I can confirm a guy dressed as Master Roshi on Takeshi's Castle. His helmet was same colour as his skin instead of the usual red to mimic Roshi's bald head, and had a full cotton beard on his face and a big plastic turtle shell on his back. He was on the "Wipe Out" game where you had roll on a surfboard on your belly along a roller-track without falling into the water at the end. He fell in and his beard got all wet and stingy. Before getting on the board he pulls off a hilarious Kamehameha in front of Kitano.

Correction for the Majin Vegeta/Prince of Destruction part: Majin Vegeta was actually called Price of Destruction in english way back on the somewhat obscure and underrated Gameboy Color game Legendary Super Warriors although due to text limitations it was shortened to just Destruction. Definitely a hidden gem that I highly recommend.

Im from italy too, a lot of the names of the show are changed for example krillin is crili, yamcha is yamko, chaozu is rif, tenshinhan is tensing, piccolo is junior etc etc. Also as it was mentioned in the comments italian dub usually have new songs and insert song specially for the tv releases, also specially in anime most of the name of the characters are changed they cut a lot of stuff.
