Excellent Tutorial! It's great to see how users use our software and I'm sure that this video will inspire so many people to get making!

There is...but it should be fairly straight forward. The design is fairly simple but worth spending time getting the tool paths right. One of those projects that once you've done one, the rest become so much easier. :-)

Hey that was a perfect project for a noob like me! It made me do my first pocket cut and I was amazed how quick and easy that went. Thanks for the inspiration and tutorial

while watching this, its making me feel old as when i did cnc at college, i had to do it all by hand entering g codes. great vid as per mate.

Haha thanks. Inputting g code must be really time consuming...but a good skill to have. Ive only ever once taken a file and edited the g code and it took a lot of googling :-) I guess thats the beauty of Cad/Cam now. Its not cheap but saves hours of work.

@@Smugwood it wasn't to bad as we had a book with all the codes and we learnt how to do it in a cnc class. i've forgotten everything now beyond to remember if you're cutting outside, on or inside a line. everything else is gone. it was very similar for programming robots which i also did. now there is a lots of free software you can use to do cnc and it also works wtih 3d printing, which is kind of the same thing. only wtih that, you're filling in instead of removing material. did you check out they flying telecaster i posted a link too? i desperately want one.

Yeah is a good video. I reckon I could easily adapt what Ive done so far to make it into a flying v. But im trying to see how I can make alterations to make it look and feel completely different from what ive made...even though its based on the same design...if that makes sense haha

@@Smugwood kind of sort of. i'm sure whatever you do, you'll come out with an intersting idea. i await whatever you decide to build with anticipation.

Thanks Lee - very. Informative! I just need to get a copy of Vectric now 🎅 🤞

Vectric is really good software. But if you're using a different software it should be a very similar process :-)

@@Smugwood i have only used Carbide own free software, but fancy stepping up to Vectric

@@pat1walls Vectric software is great. Very easy to use and they have forums and tons of how too's on their site. They may even have free trials to download...cant remember now but may be worth a look.
