I know nothing about sound fonts, but imagine a game with a soundtrack that featured the SNES and Sega Genesis (Sonic 2, 3K & Knuckles Chaotix) sound font. How would that sound like? 🤔

Genesis doesn't have a soundfont, but a synthesizer. You could sample it, but it wouldn't be quite the same. And I mean, it'd just be a SNES soundtrack with some really nice FM basses.
