For what the game is worth, it’s amazing, the only complaint (nitpick) I have about the game is that maybe the creator could make some sprites of Mario crying, they can be used if Mario stands farthest away from Bowser when he is inching closer to Mario. There are so many ways that could make this game really good.

Actually, good point. My goal was to never force the controls away from the player, with 0 cutscenes that play themselves, but I think adding that little bit of flare would have been great regardless and could have added a lot to the experience. I'll consider this on my next project, thank you.

So what i understand is that Mario was probably drugged while all this stared, when he got "undrugged", peach showed him what happened while he was drugged, she showed him that everyone died and that he wasnt there to rescue them, so Peach was showing Mario everyone's dead bodies And then she guided Mario to the casttle, wich was probably a trap for him to pay and DIE, since not just he found toad dead bodies, but also a harmed and bleeding Bowser appeared to kill Mario, and i guess they putted some flamable liquid in the casttle since after that the casttle blew up, and this way, Peach and Bowser's souls could finally rest. Oh,and also the BIG mario head could have been an attempt from Peach and Bowser to kill Mario OR another trapped soul that wanted to make Mario pay by himself

See, these are the kind of horror games that I like. Ones that give the player a sense of terror rather than horror. Allow me to use an explanation from a subnautica video, Terror is about suspense and the feeling of being threatened, horror is just spooks and scares. Sure there were little jumpscares here and there, but I still feel like this game was leaning towards the terror factor rather than horror.
