I am re-entering the motorcycle market as a new/old rider after a long hiatus.I looked at the available options for the U.S. market for a cruise control system. I consider the BreakAway Cruise Control as the only viable option we have. The other options lock your throttle in place which could be hazardous in an emergency or a crash. One of the videos indicates that with the throttle locked you motorcycle could continue down the road without you. The SMW Project video demonstrates what I feel is the only real cruise control that I have found so far. It functions like the cruise control on a car. The operation is automatically interrupted when the front or rear brake is activated. I think that the indicator lights on the control switch are a plus. The lights let you know when the system is engaged. The installation and wiring are fairly straight forward. The most tedious part looks like running the fish tape to pull the wired to hook up to the electrical system. Does any on e know if the product will be imported by motorcycle parts distributors? I sent an email to Marko at the SMW Project to get a status, and to see if they intend to export the product.

As far I know the patent for cruise control is pending. I'm Marko's friend and I live in USA and I have few people who showed some interest in this product. By people I mean dealers. It is all about price and profit margin.

Good Morning Zygtar: I have a 2001 Honda Shadow Spirit, VT750DC.I purchased a Tempomat Standard+ from Marko, and received it on October 6, 2014. I have not installed it yet. I am waiting until I get my Driving Lights, and will install them both at the same time. I think the Tempomat Standard+ has a definite benefit over the other mechanical cruise control devices we see in the U.S. market. Marko indicated that he could produce 100 units per month. If he increases his production volume and reduces his internal costs he can probably build a margin for himself. He could possibly sale directly to dealers. My Honda dealer in Jacksonville, FL expressed some interest also. Regards, Ken

w wsk była śrubka blokująca gaz, to badziewie jest rozbudowana wersją tego i zapewne kosztuje sporo, blokowanie manetki zapewne odbywa się poprzez elektronikę, dzięki czemu można ją odblokować naciskając hamulec, prawdziwy tempomat, stosowany np. w ciężarówkach dostosowuje sam gaz, aby utrzymać zadaną prędkość, a przy tej zabawce gdy natrafimy na wzniesienie moto zwolni i odwrotnie, wiec wydaje mi się że powinno to się nazywać blokadą manetki gazu, a nie tempomatem
