When I went to middle school in Tampa there was a Church's across the street that alot of the other kids would go to, but I never tried it. Popeye's doesn't have any locations near me in SW Pennsylvania, but I always eat there when I travel and their chicken is FIRE and so are their fries.

Popeyes 🍗 has absolutely went downhill in the last 5-7 years. I thought it was just different franchises but their quality of 🍗 is lackluster in 2024. Here in Pittsburgh, chain 🍗 joints are KFC and Popeyes but we have hood shacks that bust out some serious birds that'll make fast food 🍗 suffer in sales. We had Church's here in the late 70's but were gone like 2 years later but i remember then that my dad bought myself, sister and brother each a 3 piece with biscuit and pepper for 1.09. KFC almost got lost when Church's was around and had that power to get rid of them, no matter the better product....smdh.

Church’s for the spicy-ness which Popeyes lacks. If you go to Church’s you always get the Spicy because their regular isn’t seasoned at all, it’s pure flour power lol. I find Church’s Chicken to be more moist/juicy than Popeyes. It’s Team Church’s for me. Sorry Popeyes.
