With the cookie time cookie you need to get the triple chocolate one and zap it in the microwave for about 15 to 30 seconds. You can never go wrong with that, It is soft and warm and the melted chocolate is amazing lol.

Tait's right. 10 to 15 years ago K-bars were the best budget, long lasting, sweet, 50×10×5mm lolly that came in four, maybe five flavors. 25c each so four for a dollar. Put 'em in your pocket for a minit or so to get them up to that just right consistency of not cracking when you bite it and not melting in your pocket. You could almost glue your fuckin' teeth together! *sigh* never see them anymore. Are they still around? nb. The chocolate k-bar thing is part of a fad in the chocolate community where there's all these different desserts, ice-creams, and lolly flavors being encased in chocolate so I wouldn't call it a "unique nz snack".

Cadbury is great but many kiwis do not tend to buy cadbury stuffs bc they are closing the cadbury chocolate factory in Dunedin just because producing chocolates in Australia is cheaper than producing in NZ which made approx 400 people lose their jobs.

Idk if it's the same throughout the rest of the world but an afghan in America can also be a blanket that someone has made by quilting or knitting. I can't remember what one it is or if they are basically the same thing but if they are then my bad. I watched this video a couple years ago and just ran across it again. I wasn't subscribed when this video first came out but I'm glad I have been subscribed to Jolly and Korean Englishman for a couple of years now because your videos are amazing and have helped me in hard times when I was really depressed. In our school canteen they used to put cookie time cookies on top of the pie warmer. There was always this mad rush to get your hands on one of the 6 that fit up there. If you were lucky enough to get one it was better than Christmas.

You can get all of these in Australia as well 😂 some of them are on ordinary shelves with different packaging like the burger rings but a lot of places in Australia have New Zealand sections that has the other snacks in it.

Missed a few other snacks. The Nestle chocolate in New Zealand tastes totally different than in Europe. Never heard of Whittakers lime flavor, i think you would have been pleased with Whittaker L&P, also a typical NZ thing. L&P is Lemon & Pareoa, a fizzy lemonade made in a little town near the Coromandel called Pareoa. Anyway, the chocolate of Whittakers, most famous for their peanut slabs, had added the flavour and fizz to the chocolate. A palet surprise. Also, compare the sized of a Cadbury Crunchy to an English Cadbury Crunchy . Its like Europe thinks only in small dossage.
