@@danielmorris3446 believe it or not, at sparsholt I did wader safety training. You learn how to swim with waders on. It's perfectly safe, especially with a life jacket!

My family is Dutch and I fish there regularly and I’ve seen this situation a lot especially when I comes to wildlife rules there. No doubt the guy in the boat is right, but as you found their English can be blunt 😂. It’s not made to cause offence it’s just the way they translate there
