I always slightly bend my pocket clips so my Cold Steel folder come out the pocket with out pulling my pants until the wave catches or it will fail occasionally because of the tight clip holding things up. 😎⚔️💰⚔️😎

I’m going to be setting up two Extra Large Voyagers like. Did you get the hang of opening them both at same time yet?

you know, i never did. i am fat right now and i have a hard time as it is keeping my pants up. i know its ridiculous, or hilarious depending on your perspective but its the truth and im not wearing suspenders. once i get the weight off i plan to circle back to this idea.

@@jasonbrown467 have you tried wearing a gun belt on your pants with them? My gun belt keeps my pants super secure

I just got my Counterpoint 1 but you know... I like it quite nice but this one came a bit tough to open, I have my thumb all roughed up and what I don't love about it is that it doesn't flick open. Did you do something to yours?
@jasonbrown4674 жыл бұрын
when i got my first one i thought the lock was too stiff, so i removed some material on the spring for the lock to make the spring just a tad weaker, this also made it a tad easier to open. on my second knife, yes i have two of them, i was fairly acclimated to it and didnt make any mods and i can flip it open easily. it should be noted, i dont use the thumb stuf to open knifes, i never too. if i can flip it out great, but waving it out is even better. i added something called a snaggletooth mf that allows for it to wave out of my pocket on both my counter point xls, i have a video over that as well. enjoy your sweet new knife, may your shanking go well

@@jasonbrown467 Funny to be here 4 years after. I actually got a type of snaggletooth devise on Amazon because I thought it was awesome, but it happened that it did not fit my counter point because the rod that goes trough the thumb stud hole is too fat and just won't fit. I don't know what knife is this thing designed for, maybe the XL version and apparently the Benchmade Bugout 🤷♂

@@ramonvelasquez8431 i got tired of them breaking on me, so i started just using a zip tie cut short, never failed me and snags just fine

I did not catch it in the video. Did you order the srew that fits the oem thumbstud from snaggletooth or did you have one yourself?
@jasonbrown4674 жыл бұрын
the screw i used came in the package that contained the snaggle tooth mf. the first snaggle tooth i retrieved for another knife, which happens to be the same knife, did not come with the screw needed to use the oem thumb stud.

@@jasonbrown467 so you have to order a specifif snagletooth if you want that srew?

@SnaggleToothMF this is such a simple yet very effective add on, i hope you have success with your idea

I dont know man, it works well even without the gizmo.

i wanted to wave it out of my pocket, and this little thing in the video accommodates that. i know you can flip them open almost as fast, but if i am pulling my self defence knife out its getting used and milliseconds count, that's my approach anyways.
