3 years ago when this song dropped, I was in such a low place with everything in the world seeming impossible. Barely scraping by with no sight of getting out of the ruts. I remember all I wanted was to be able to buy a house so then I could stop wasting money paying someone else's mortgage, but how do you even start to save for a downpayment with barely making it week to week and having -$4000 in credit debt. I was so depressed thinking of my choices in life and realizing I wasn't making it out of this. I had no trust in myself. I'm here 3 years later to say that I bought my house after year 1. It wasn't the prettiest of homes, but it was mine. I worked hard to make that home new and worth living in and last week I purchased my second home. Believe in yourself, bet on yourself.
