I think they are just family owned farmed houses, no-one living there unless it is really big and has farm workers. Or is a clean up prior to descendents moving in. It's somewhere like China, SE Asia

Looks like some of the plastics are for germination of seeds for growing plants.. The leaves under the shrub looks like the edible ones that is served in Korean restaurants. Don't know that name?
