This is great! Hubby got me a snake and skinned it! I can’t wait to make a sheath for my new edc!

Nice work. I just completed a damascus knife with cocobolo, turquoise, and nickel silver scales. I was trying to figure out what to do for a sheath, and then your video popped up on my feed. Snakeskin would be a great compliment to the knife. Thanks for the inspiration.

Is it necessary to tan a snake? When you buy it already driyed

How did you sew the top of the sheath since you started on the side? since the top has to remain open for the knife.

Great video. Inspiring! Beautiful job. Looks too pretty (and thick) to go inside a shirt, but definitely a showpiece for wearing outside the shirt or on the belt. IMHO Where do you buy your snake skin? Do you descale the skins before use, and what’s your opinion on that?
